600 On A 600: Bunny Lynch

Back on the blog today is Camera 1. However, if you haven’t heard, this is not the original camera. Camera 1 was lost in the mail after Steven Wallace and we have not seen it resurface. We started another camera and did some reorganizing with our lists to try and avoid future loss. This is version 2 and we are happy to be posting again.

Today we feature Bunny Lynch from Matthews, NC. I know Bunny personally and was already happy she was part of the project. But I was thrilled to see that she decided to shoot her 8 exposures on her wedding day. Bunny shot PX 680 Color Protection film. She included the dark slide which ironically fit the theme of “wedding” perfect! You can see more of Bunny’s work at the following links.

From Bunny:

I tried to make a plan for these special 8 photos but any ideas I had went completely out of the window when I got the camera in the mail the week before I got married! I took the whole pack of film on my wedding day: some before, some during, and one after the wedding. It was a unique way for me as a bride to show my perspective from that day. I usually don’t photograph people the way I did in these photographs, but to me it was more about documenting than trying to be very creative (I didn’t have the time!) I included myself in one of the photos with the help of Dan Smith as a human tripod.

We’d like to thank Bunny again for being a part of this cameras amazing journey. Also, thanks again to The Impossible Project for helping us make this whole project happen. Please check out their shop for cameras and film to make your own instant memories.
