600 On A 600: Leanne Surfleet

Today on the blog, we have another 600 On A 600 installment. This time, we feature Camera 3 and some beautiful work from Leanne Surfleet.

Leanne is no stranger to the blog or the Flickr group. We have featured her work in our Featured Friday post and we featured her in a Self Portrait series last year. Capturing beautiful images of herself on instant film is what originally caught our eyes. A little round mirror which sits on an old hardwood floor has become a window for us into her world.

We were very happy when Leanne joined the project and excited to receive her images back. You can see more of her work at the following links.

“When I first received the camera I had a great idea about getting some of the new lovely colour frame film from Impossible (which I did) and to shoot a different person on each of the 8 exposures, as thats something I want to do a lot more of. But I got the camera around Christmas time which wasnt a great time for me & I have been really lacking in motivation & inspiration and only ended up shooting a pola of my nieces & nephew on Christmas day and my friend Karley when I visited London. I recently had a little boost of motivation & wanted to keep the camera moving and ended up finishing the pack with some self-portraits & still life. Thank you so much for your support and for letting me be a part of your amazing project!”

We’d like to thank Leanne again for being a part of this cameras amazing journey. Also, thanks again to The Impossible Project for helping us make this whole project happen. Please check out their shop for cameras and film to make your own instant memories.

  1. The third one is Amazing!

  2. Powerful work from one of my favorites – the last image is simply lovely.
