600 On A 600: Rich Burroughs

We’re back with another installment of our 600 On A 600 project. Camera 2 has now made it’s way from California to Portland, Oregon and into the very capable hands of Rich Burroughs.

Admittedly, when we saw that Rich had signed up for this project, we were very excited. Having followed his work on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram, we knew that he would produce some great images. When the email arrived and I got to see his 8 for the first time, I was surprised by the content but very pleased with his results.

Rich, mostly know for his minimalist approach to photographing models, took a different approach with this project. Going back to, as he said, “the kind of Polaroids I shot before I worked with models” .  Choosing The Impossible Projects PX 680 Color Protection film, Rich shot his environment and produced some timeless images.

You can find more of Rich’s work at the following links:

We’d like to thank Rich again for being a part of this cameras amazing journey. Also, thanks again to The Impossible Project for helping us make this whole project happen. Please check out their shop for cameras and film to make your own instant memories.

  1. I love the documentary style of this series. #2 and #4 really speak to me personally, but as a whole they seem to tell an interesting story. Lovely work.
