How did you get into instant photography?

I found an SX-70 in an old box of cameras at a carboot sale, the guy didn’t know what it was or even how to open it. Best day ever!

What is your favorite camera used for instant photography?

I recently brought a Polaroid 180 and holy moly it’s a dream machine.

What instant camera have you not shot with, but would love to try?

I always wanted to try the 180 so I am pretty much living the dream.

What’s your favorite Impossible film or pack film type?

Fuji 100c Silk

How have you incorporated instant film into your regular workflow?

I have been testing the water with my current clients and as far as it goes they love it. I love giving them away to the people I shoot there so much value in that.

How would you describe your voice or vision with instant photography? (does it differ from your other work?)

All natural light, cool locations and awesome people so no it doesn’t differ from my current work I would shoot digital the same way I shoot the 180 it just takes a few seconds longer to focus.

Any personal projects we should know about?

YES I have a new portrait website coming soon and its me shooting creative and awesome people in their own environment. I am aiming to have about 50% of my work in instant film.

What other photographers do you look up too?

Passionate and creative ones

What advice would you give to someone just getting into instant photography?

When you start its crazy expensive and you will waste a lot of money getting the hang of your camera and your vision but there is no other photography more rewarding. Instant gratification and images that you cant edit are dope.

Where does most of your inspiration come from? Do you seek it out or wait till it finds you?

People and what they do in their own environment is all the inspiration I need.

What is one question you would like us to ask on a future interview? Please answer the question you ask.

Who would you most love to shoot on instant film? Alive or dead?

My answer would be: Bob Dylan
