Featured Friday: Roid Week on the Rise

We have another great Featured Friday coming up for you, and this week it’s entirely based on Polaroid Week, also known as ‘Roidweek! For those unfamiliar, ‘Roidweek is a 5 day period where avid instant film photographers / lovers come together on Flickr to share their best work and gaze upon that by others, and today’s gallery is some of our favorites from last years masterpieces. This is just a small taste of all the amazing photos we saw that week, and you can see a lot more at the ‘Roidweek 2013 Flickr group pool to get you excited for this years festivities. There is so much there, it’s easy to get lost in it.

This year’s ‘Roidweek is May 19th through May 23rd. Get your film orederd, prepare your cameras, and be ready for a fun and exciting week where you will see some amazing artwork and meet the best people part of this community. The great thing about Roid week is that there are no previously posted photos allowed; you either can save some of your best photos that you can post throughout the 5 days or you can go out and plan shoots to get some photos to share, or you can do both? Hey, why not? For those new to ‘Roidweek, read the rest of the rules here, and if you haven’t joined the 2014 group yet you can do so at the same link.

Of course, we’ll try to get you up to speed with this year’s ‘Roidweek and have some great things to share with you. We hope you are all as excited as we are for the 19th and we expect to see some amazing stuff for you all. Until then feel free to immerse yourselves in last years pool and have a great weekend!
