Yesterday kicked of ‘RoidWeek 2014 on Flickr. Polaroid Week was started in 2006 to celebrate instant film. It was just a project, one started to see what new and interesting things could be done with instant film; and to challenge people to produce some really great work. So much amazing instant photography was shared over in the Flickr pool yesterday, and we know it will only get better.
Just like we did last year, we are going to direct the blog to the ‘Roidweek Flickr pool. You can check in here today through Thursday for an updated look into all the action. Friday we will be featuring some favorites from the week in our Featured Friday post. If you would like to contribute to the group, here are the official rules.
# 4: Though we call it “Polaroid Week” ANY instant film is fine.
# 5: If you don’t have a scanner, you can take a digital photo of your polaroid, but crop out everything but the instant photo, please.
# 6: No Faux-laroids. This is a FILM ONLY group, good people.
# 7: If you do not play by these rules, then you and your photos will be removed from the pool without any notification or explanation.
We’ve been doing this for a while now, and we want to keep it simple and fun for everybody.
Be sure to check out some of the past pools for inspiration:

Now, on to some instant imagery!
