Step5 Polaroid Negative/Print Holder Update!

Happy Wednesday! Today we bring you an update on a product we first previewed a few months ago – the Step 5 Polaroid Print Holder.  We thank PhotOlé Photography for sending us a negative/print holder to check out as we think it’s a product many of you might like to keep in your camera bags. We have definitely enjoyed using it on outings with our Land Camera. In our last post, many of you shared other options for print/negative holders, which is great, because without options, life wouldn’t be as fun.

We liked the Step5 Print Holder because it was light, easy to carry, no parts to lose and did the job. Our only concern was, “how do we protect the negative?” since the spacing seemed a little too close to keep the negative protected. Well, after feedback on the print holder, PhotOlé came out with the negative holder.

We noticed it’s larger and the spacing a little wider, ready to keep your negatives protected. The print holder has dimensions of 3.5″ x 1″ x 4.5″, whereas the negative holder is 3.5″ x 1.3″ 4.5″.

Below some photos, comparing the two. If you are interested in any one of these products, stop by the PhotOlé Photography online store – links below.

  1. Sigh, I bought 3 of the original versions. And they sucked. Its really sad for the price they asked that they didnt even pass a single real world test. I used it on ONE occasion and never will again, at least now how it is intended. If you put 2 shots together in consequential slots, they stuck together ruining at least one of the photos every time.

Im glad they made a 2.0 (under the guise of negative holding), but honestly if they arent sending them free to the “beta testers” of V1, they can kiss my butt…designing a holder that doesnt even work at all how intended. What a rip-off is how I felt about it. High hopes dashed to pieces.

  2. Sob – they only ship in the US?

    • Hi Ale Di Gangi,

We ship worldwide. Square website that host our product does not allow out of state shipping so we much invoice you with PayPal. Thank you very much for your interest!
