WUSC Radio Musical Fundraiser by Scott Southall

Happy Polaroid Week! Today, we thought we’d share a set brought to you by Scott Southall. Scott has been featured several times, and we always enjoy seeing his portrait work. This time around, he attended a fundraiser and shares with us these great instant photos. If you have a set you’d like to share, email us, submit[at]snapitseeit.com.

A little more from Scott on this set:

I think it’s been about 4 years since I’ve been able to make it there, but WUSC FM’s spring fundraiser show is always packed with great bands and this year did not disappoint. WUSC FM is the student run radio station of The University of South Carolina, and to continue broadcasting in our cars and on the web they have bi-annual fundraiser weeks to get support from any donors that want to help out.
The Saturday show’s lineup had an eclectic mix of local musicians that are well known here in Columbia, SC, and you can find many of them online:
ANISSA ARMALY – honeyed r&b/soul

Paper Shoes 4.2.16

MARIO MCCLEAN – indie folk/neo-soul

Even if you can’t get to South Carolina to listen to WUSC’s radio station or see any of these bands live, you can still tune in or donate via the WUSC website: http://wusc.sc.edu/
And a big thanks goes to the WUSC music director, Chelsea, Oshia from the public affairs department, and the station manager, Kaylyn (who I didn’t manage to snap a photo of), for letting me help out, photograph some of the bands, and lug instruments around.

Check out more of Scott’s work on Instagram or Twitter! Have a great week everyone!
